Real-time soldier access to all relevant sensor data
From Julius Caesar to Tommy Franks, information has been the key to
penetrating the fog of war. On the modern battlefield, technology abounds.
High resolution cameras, infrared optics, GPS location and inertial navigation all
provide an invaluable view of the battlefield for troops on the ground, on
the seas and in the air. Hundred of sensors provide hundreds of independent views
of a single battlespace.
Distributed Instruments' servers enable these independent views to be integrated in
real time so that soldiers and commanders can have access to the latest information
from the best sources about the whole battlefield. Sensor fusion enables us to
pierce the fog.
